Moodboards: wellness architecture, biophilia, phyto-design
Interiors and architecture we read through wellness architecture: which biophilic design patterns work in the space, how light, materials and planting are handled — and what to carry over into a medispa, a spa area and a treatment room.

Moodboards are on their way
We are collecting and reading references: every image is analysed for biophilic design patterns, light, materials and planting. The first boards will appear here soon.

How to read the analysis
- Biophilic design patternsFourteen patterns in three families: nature in the space, natural analogues and the nature of the space (prospect, refuge, mystery, risk). Each pattern found has a strength: a hint, a clear design move or the basis of the space.
- Wellness buildingLight and circadian rhythm, air, water, thermal comfort, acoustics, healthy materials, calm and privacy — what a space does for a person without any effort on their part.
- Phyto-designPlanting systems (living walls, moss, trees, planters, built-in planting), plant types and the level of care they will require from operations.
- What to borrow for a medispaTransferable moves for a treatment room and a spa area, and the limits of a clinical space: cleanable surfaces, humidity, slip risk, allergens, maintenance load.
