What a spa is made of
Seven groups and their nodes: the unit the market prices in, the estimate element the node rolls up to, and the cost drivers. Alongside: how many solutions the registry holds and how many have a price.
Prices by node, EUR
Range over the node's solutions in one unit: n is the number of solutions, quartiles from n of three. Prices are converted to euro at the pilot-date rate.
Solutions registry
A solution is a product or a system: manufacturer, model, country of origin, certification, unit and capacity. Prices are catalogue prices from price lists, open regional unit rates, procurement awards and industry guides, with date, currency and VAT basis; no project discounts unless stated.
Spa programming norms
International benchmarks: area, number of treatment rooms, zone shares, spa capture rate and occupancy. Segments differ widely, so values are shown per segment rather than as one range.
Title
The standards pools, saunas, steam rooms, hydrotherapy and water systems are designed and operated to: code, publisher, edition and the nodes they apply to.
SPA in the cost estimate
Registry prices feed project cost estimates: pool water treatment, dosing and disinfection, water heating, overflow gratings and ladders, banya stoves, bio-sauna heaters and sauna cabins, flotation. In the estimate such lines are marked as a «brick»: the price comes from the registry, not from a model.
Prices and benchmarks are for the concept and the financial model, not a cost estimate or a commercial offer. The cost of a specific spa depends on the design, system capacities, region, exchange rate and supply and installation terms.
